Poems may be hand written or typed and students may submit more than one. All entries must be postmarked by Friday, May 18, 2012.

Mock Town Board
During the Earth Day season, take advantage of this educational outreach program that is offered all year at Town Hall or at your school. This program is appropriate for Fourth and Fifth graders.

Recycling Refresher Lessons
A member of the Outreach Team will visit your school to engage students in a grade appropriate discussion about the importance of recycling.

Community Cleanups
The Town will provide gloves, garbage bags, and t-shirts to participating members of your organization that volunteer on your specific date to help make North Hempstead a more beautiful place to live.
