Clark Garden to Display Winter Solstice Photo Exhibit Courtesy of Local Photographer
Opening reception is Dec. 20 with exhibit on display until Jan. 25

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilman Peter Zuckerman have announced that Clark Botanic Garden will be hosting a Winter Solstice Photo Exhibit courtesy of emerging photographer Jorge Escoto, a student from Herricks High School. Escoto lives in Manhasset.

Escoto’s craft includes shooting candid photographs that capture natural moments and selecting what is worth remembering to reflect the intention of the person behind the camera. All photos on exhibit have been taken in the Town of North Hempstead and are both of nature and abstract.

The opening exhibit will take place December 20 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clark Garden House at 193 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson. The exhibit will remain open until January 25 and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

A Winter Wonderland train set will also be on display at Clark Garden throughout the winter season for children and families to enjoy.
