North Hempstead, NY – Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth is proud to announce that, starting this August, the Building Department will host another series of evening community-based office hours designed to allow residents to meet with the Supervisor’s Applicant Advocate.

The mobile hours will give residents the opportunity to address any questions or concerns they may have regarding their Building Department application and receive assistance from the Applicant Advocate, who represents the Supervisor, and the mobile Building Department Unit.

“The evening office hours provide a convenient way for residents to ask any questions they may have about their permits and find out more about the Town’s Building Department,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “These sessions have been successful in the past and I look forward to them continuing to make Building Department services as accessible as possible for homeowners.”

The Applicant Advocate provides residents with a more customer-friendly and personal experience in the Building Department. The Advocate is tasked with assisting residents in navigating the permit process.

• Monday, August 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Avenue, Manhasset
• Thursday, August 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Port Washington Public Library, 1 Library Dr., Port Washington
• Monday, August 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Hillside Public Library, 155 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park
• Thursday, August 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Shelter Rock Public Library, 165 Searingtown Road, Albertson
