SPOOKY WEEK 2008!

Town to hold annual Spooky Walk and Not-So-Spooky Walk at Clark Botanic Garden

    Manhasset, NY--Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins will prowl Clark Botanic Garden October 22-25 at North Hempstead’s 2008 Spooky Week, Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced. North Hempstead welcomes all to celebrate Halloween in style by bringing family and friends to witness the incredible transformation of Clark Botanic Garden, from spectacular natural foliage to spooky nighttime fright. 
    “Spooky Week 2008 is back and better than ever!” said Supervisor Kaiman. “October 22nd to the 24th, from 6 PM to 9 PM, you can go to Clark Botanic Garden for the acclaimed Spooky Walk. And for younger children for whom this night might not be suitable, we offer a Not-So-Spooky Walk, noon to 5 PM, on Saturday, October 25th.” 
    Admission to Spooky Walk is $5.
This event may not be suitable for young children, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. 
    It’s Only Rock n’ Roll will perform October 24th.
    Admission to the Not-So-Spooky walk and Scary Tales is $3. This event is suitable for children of all ages.
    The town also announced that a new Dark Knight theme will be incorporated for the 2008 Spooky Week.  Keep your eyes open, or closed, for the Joker, Batman, and scary clowns!
