Town’s Project Independence to Host Fall Exercise Classes

Port Washington, NY
– The Town of North Hempstead’s ‘aging in place’ program Project Independence is proud to be hosting a wide array of fall exercise and fitness classes this fall, including tai-chi, yoga, and Zumba. The classes will be taught by professional certified instructors.

The free classes will be held at various locations throughout the town and run until late December. Registration for the classes is currently underway.

Project Independence, was created to help seniors live healthy, independent lives in their own homes and communities, provides a vast array of services while helping those 60 and older navigate the wide network of social services.
