Supervisor Bosworth and Councilman Zuckerman Announce Tree Plantings on I.U. Willets Road

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilman Peter Zuckerman visited I.U. Willets Road in Albertson on June 12th to take a look at the 14 trees newly planted by the Town’s Highway Department. This was part of a joint effort between the Town, Albertson Square Civic Association and their President Edward Scott, called “Operation: I.U. Willets Road.” The Town of North Hempstead is currently a Tree City USA, according to the National Arbor Day Foundation, in recognition of the Town’s robust tree management program.
