Town Bringing Paperless Parking to Port Washington Parking District Patrons

North Hempstead, NY – Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio and the Town Board announced that Port Washington Parking District patrons will be able to register for their permits online on May 23. In addition, residents will have access to extended convenience hours for residents to walk in and apply in person. The extended hours will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the month of May.

Parking permits and vouchers for 2016/2017 will be available for purchase at www.GoPortParking.org. To apply for a permit online and in-person, residents must provide three proofs of residency. All proofs must have the same name and address, no post office boxes. The following are accepted as valid proofs of residency: current NYS vehicle registration, valid and current NYS Driver’s License, valid and current utility bill within the last four months. Please note, tax bills, credit card bills, savings accounts and passports will not be accepted as proof.
