Town Celebrates Successful Samba 360 Program

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Member Viviana Russel joined with Samba 360 on August 5 for a celebration marking the end of a successful two-week long soccer and chess program. The free program was sponsored by Samba 360 and provided participants with a uniform, soccer ball, chessboard and lunch. The program was held at Martin “Bunky” Reid Park and the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury. Participants were presented awards to commemorate their dedication to the program.

Samba 360 is a not-for-profit organization that provides relief to disadvantaged children, both domestically and abroad, through the collection of donated sporting and other recreational equipment.
