North Hempstead to Celebrate Hanukkah with Menorah Lighting at Town Hall, Dec. 27 at 4 p.m.

North Hempstead, NY – Join the Town of North Hempstead for this year’s Menorah Lighting and Hanukkah Celebration!  Hanukkah, which runs from Saturday, December 24 until sunset Sunday, January 1 this year, celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, when it is said that one day's worth of sacred oil lasted for eight days. Latkes and other treats will be available.  Members of the local community and public invited to attend Menorah Lighting and Hanukkah Celebration. The Menorah Lighting and Hanukkah Celebration will take place on the fourth night of Hanukkah, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Town Hall at 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset
