NORTH HEMPSTEAD TO HOLD PLANDOME ROAD TRAFFIC & AND PARKING STUDY
COMMUNITY VISIONING MEETING ON THURSDAY, MARCH 15TH

Manhasset, NY –North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jon Kaiman, announced today that the Town of North Hempstead will be holding a Community Visioning Meeting at Manhasset High School beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2007, to disclose the results of a Town-commissioned study on Plandome Road and surrounding streets’ traffic and parking needs.

The Plandome Road Traffic & Parking Study was conducted by the engineering firm RBA Group. The RBA Group will present its findings and possible solutions to the community at this public meeting. Partnering with the Town in this effort is the Stakeholders’ Advisory Group comprised of the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce, Manhasset Park District, Coalition for a Safer Manhasset and the Plandome Road Beautification Committee.
