WHAT: Supervisor Bosworth and the Town Board have invited the Nassau County Police Department’s Community Affairs Office to present an educational seminar on how to avoid the most common scams that target senior citizens.

The Nassau County Police Department has seen an uptick in the number of senior citizens being scammed out of their hard-earned money. Criminals are using new and more deceptive ways to defraud good people out of their life savings. Recently, scams are targeting people of Chinese descent, impersonating representatives from the Chinese Consulate. Learn how to identify these scams and avoid them!

The presentation is FREE.

WHEN: Monday, May 6, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
