Council Member Lurvey Hosts Event for Local Veterans  

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Council Member Veronica Lurvey is proud to be hosting a very special event to bring the veteran community together on Friday, October 13 at 6 p.m. at Michael J. Tully Park in New Hyde Park. Attendees are invited for a discussion about military diplomatic relations and a networking opportunity.

Major Lance Jensen (Ret.), Current Program Manager of Security Assistance U.S. Embassy Spain will lead the talk and provide insight from his 30-year career with the United States Army. He will cover his experiences, perspectives, and the critical role of the miliary in diplomatic relations.
