Town Update

Supervisor Jon Kaiman and the Town of North Hempstead's Office of Intermunicipal Coordination (OIC) will be hosting a Government Leaders meeting regarding the County Executive's plan to close the 6th Precinct.  Legislators Judi Bosworth and Wayne Wink, whose districts cover the 6th precinct service area, will be in attendance.

In addition, Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth will discuss the proposal to merge Nassau Police Precincts tonight at 7:00pm.

County Legislator Judi Bosworth to Discuss Proposal to Merge Nassau Police Precincts on News 12

Nassau county Legislator Judi Bosworth (D—Great Neck) is scheduled to appear tonight at 7:00 p.m. on Channel 12 where she will weigh in on County Executive Edward Mangano's proposal to consolidate the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct, based in Woodbury, with the Sixth Precinct, based in Manhasset.

Residents can pose questions or offer comments to Bosworth on the show.
