Port Washington Parking District Parking Permit Renewal to Begin May 1st 
 
Port Washington, NY– Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Town Councilwoman Dina M. DeGiorgio announced that residents of the Port Washington Parking District may renew their parking permits at the District offices effective May 1st.

With current Port Washington Parking District permits due to expire May 31st, the new 2012-2013 permits will be available as of May 1st. Current permit holders will receive the new permit application in the mail. Others can obtain a permit application from the Parking District Office located at 15 Vanderventer Ave. in Port Washington. Applications can also be downloaded from the Town’s website at www.northhempsteadny.gov. To apply online, click on the “Living” section at the top of the home page, scroll down to “Parking Permit Applications”, click on the “Port Washington Application” tab, select the “Parking Permit Application”, and then print it out.

Below are the dates and times the office will be open:

Weekdays from 6 a.m.—3 p.m.
Saturdays May 5th, May 12th, and May 19th from 7 a.m.—3 p.m.
And Tuesday May 8th, Wednesday May 16th, and Thursday May 31th until 8 p.m.

The fee for the parking permit is $15. Visa, MasterCard, cash, or checks made payable to the “Port Washington Parking District” will be accepted.

Residents must provide a current drivers license, vehicle registration, and a current utility bill. All must contain the same name and address.
