KidStock Music Festival Scheduled for August 26th
 
North Hempstead, NY–  Supervisor Jon Kaiman and the North Hempstead Town Board announced that the second annual KidStock open air music festival, featuring live musical entertainment for kids and parents alike, will wind down the Town’s summer festival season when it showcases an array of exciting bands and national celebrities on August 26th.

Hosted by special guest MC Roscoe “Gordon of Sesame Street” Orman, who will spin a blend of folk, rock, kid pop, and kid rock, this exciting event will take place at North Hempstead Beach Park on West Shore Road in Port Washington.

The day’s presentation will begin with a performance by Bari Koral Family Rock Band, whose imaginative music is sure to encourage residents of all ages to strut their dance moves.

Local favorite Strummin’ and Drummin’, featuring brothers Chris and Matt Marshak, will follow with their funky, bluesy, soulful, and silly kids’ songs that will get the audience singing along.

Next, critically-acclaimed Dan Zanes & Elizabeth Mitchell will take to the stage, inspiring the entire family to join in.

Bringing down the curtains to the musical showcase, Grammy Award nominated Brady Rymer & the Little Band That Could, will present their high-energy act, featuring songs celebrating children of all abilities.
