North Hempstead to Host Fourth Annual Mass Valentine’s Day Marriage Vow Renewal Ceremony

North Hempstead, NY– Reflecting the Town’s commitment to help seniors live healthy, active and engaged lives in their communities of choice, Supervisor Jon Kaiman, the North Hempstead Town Board and Town Clerk Leslie Gross announced that for the fourth time, the Town will host for the Annual Valentine’s Day Marriage Vow Renewal ceremony for couples married for 50 years or more.

The February 14th event at Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington is scheduled to kick off at 11:00 am.

“We are so happy to be able to celebrate the love that couples married over 50 years have shared during their long-lasting marriages,” said Gross, who conceived the event. “Perhaps those of us still young in our relationships can learn something from these couples about how to love.”

Approximately 70 couples from across the Town are expected to recommit themselves to each other at the ceremony themed “Love is in the Air”.

Brunch will be served after the couples have retied the knot and shared some insight on their personal formulas for long-lasting marriages.
