The Town of North Hempstead has installed a new floating dock for small, non-motorized water craft at the Town Dock located in Port Washington. The floating dock can be used by residents to launch kayaks, canoes and other water craft. The recent Manhasset Bay Kayak Run utilized the new floating dock as its launching point.
