Meet the Leaders Featuring Supervisor Bosworth Airing Now on Cablevision Public Access
North Hempstead, NY – Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth recently appeared on an episode of Cablevision’s popular public access show, Meet the Leaders, hosted by Pat Halpin. The Supervisor travelled to Carle Place High School, where she was interviewed in front of an audience of Carle Place High School students. This marked Supervisor Bosworth’s second time appearing on Meet the Leaders.
After being interviewed by Mr. Halpin, the students asked Supervisor Bosworth questions that covered a wide range of topics – including transparency in government, the Town’s plans for the transformation of North Hempstead Beach Park, the Town-owned lighthouse, Town-sponsored programs and the environment. Supervisor Bosworth also spoke about North Hempstead’s mentoring program with local high school students, which is part of My Brother’s Keeper, the President’s initiative to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color.
The episode is slated to air on Cablevision’s Public Access Channel 118 from Friday, May 20 – Monday, June 24, or follow the link: http://www.meettheleaders.com/2016/05/meet-the-leaders-at-school-carle-place-hs/
