Clark Garden to Hold Two Events this Autumn

Herb Day on 9/13 and Sip and Stroll on 9/23


North Hempstead, NY – The Auxiliary of Clark Botanic Garden is pleased to be holding two special events this September including “An English Tea” for Herb Day and wine tasting in the garden.

On Wednesday, September 13 the Clark Auxiliary will be holding the 14th Annual Marie Jensen Bick Herb Day and Lecture. The event begins at 12 p.m. at the Clark House. This year’s event will be celebrating cilantro /coriander which is the 2017 Herb of the Year. There will be tea, a tea cup exchange, sandwiches and desserts as well as raffles. Registration is required by September 6. The event costs $30 for Garden members and $35 for non-members.

On Saturday, September 23 the Clark Auxiliary is holding an Autumn “Sip and Stroll” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Clark House. The event will include wine tasting, refreshments, live music, raffles and a twilight garden tour.

Clark Botanic Garden is located at 193 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson.
