Town of North Hempstead to Hold September 11th Memorial Service

North Hempstead, NY – On Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 the Town of North Hempstead will once again conduct a 9-11 Memorial Service at 8:15 a.m. at Mary Jane Davies Green, located on Plandome Road, Manhasset across the street from Town Hall. All are welcomed to the ceremony.

“The ceremony serves to provide all who endured the tragedy of September 11th an opportunity to reflect upon its impact and remember those we lost that day,” said Town Clerk Wayne Wink.

“It is always a healing experience when we gather together as a community on September 11,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “It’s so important that the families of those lost that day know that their loved ones are not forgotten.”
