Project Independence Radio
to “Zoom” to New Heights
North Hempstead, NY - Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board have announced Project Independence’s radio show “Project Independence and You” is going online. In keeping with recommendations to stay at home whenever possible, the radio show has moved remotely with segments
with the hosts and members being recorded at home. This Friday, April 24, tune in to hear Supervisor Bosworth who will be this week’s featured guest.
"It truly is wonderful how technology can bring
us together,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “We are thrilled to be able to continue offering the ‘Project Independence and You’ radio show to our loyal audience, providing updates about the latest developments in the Town of North Hempstead. This platform is just
one of the many ways we are connecting with residents during these challenging times.”
The radio show uses the Zoom
platform to organize and coordinate the shows, which is then broadcasted during the normally scheduled time. Project Independence and You airs on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tune in on WCWP 88.1 FM or wcwp.org or download the app! Past episodes are available
