North Hempstead to Host Halloween Night Drone Light Show
Drones will light up the sky at North Hempstead Beach Park, for the first time ever, in this extraordinary event

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are excited to be hosting North Hempstead’s first ever drone show at North Hempstead Beach Park (south lot) on Saturday, October 31 from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The show is the first of its kind in Nassau County.

“This immersive and dazzling light show is the first of its kind in our area,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “We know that Halloween celebrations might be a bit different this year, so we invite our residents to join us for what will be an extraordinarily unique and fun event.”

The drone show, produced by Firefly Drone Shows, will use technology to produce a synchronized show for audiences of all ages. The show will be synced to music that will be broadcast through the car radio.

The Town will be enforcing social distancing guidelines at all times. All attendees are required to remain in their vehicles unless using the restrooms. Additionally, they must wear a mask when not in their vehicles.

Food and refreshments will not be available for purchase. However, residents are encouraged to bring their own snacks.

The event is free and open to all North Hempstead residents only. Capacity is limited to 800 vehicles to accommodate social distancing guidelines. The Town is encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable/canned foods to the events as part of North Hempstead's donation drive. Vehicles will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis. Attendees are not required to register ahead of time.
