Early Voting and Free Rides to the Polls
Early Voting and Free Rides to the Polls:

Concerned about voting this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic? There are other ways in which you can cast your vote.

In New York State, the last day to request an absentee ballot online is October 27 and the last day to apply for an in person absentee ballot is November 2. All absentee ballots MUST be mailed in and postmarked, delivered in person to the Board of Elections, or returned to a poll site by November 3.

Please keep in mind that the USPS recommends that voters allow enough time for ballots to be returned to the Board of Elections and suggests seven days ahead of the general elections.

Early voting locations are open from Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, November 1.

Additional information can be found on www.elections.ny.gov and www.nassaucountyny.gov/566/Board-of-Elections
