Santa Claus is Coming to Town
North Hempstead to Host Live Zoom Calls with Kris Kringle

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are excited to announce that Santa Claus is coming to Town. The Town of North Hempstead that is. From Wednesday, December 16 through Sunday, December 20, the Town will be offering opportunities for children and their families to communicate via Zoom with Father Christmas himself.

“We knew it would be challenging for children to meet with Santa in person this year due to the pandemic,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “This program provides a fun and safe way for families to experience the holiday tradition of chatting with Santa from the comfort of their own homes.”

Santa will be offering Zoom calls to youngsters throughout the North Hempstead community. Families can register by visiting: www.northhempsteadny.gov/holidayevents beginning Friday, December 11 at 2 p.m. Spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Those who register will be emailed a Zoom link prior the event.

All meetings with Santa will be held in groups of up to 75 children. Zoom calls are open to Town residents only. Residents can make appointments for the following times:

Wednesday, December 16 – 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.
Friday, December 18 – 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 19 – 12 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m.
Sunday, December 20 – 2 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m.
