Town Hosts Virtual Kwanzaa Programs
Part of the Town’s NHTV at Home Series
North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board are proud to be hosting a special edition of NHTV at Home featuring a week-long Kwanzaa celebration. The virtual programs will premiere on North Hempstead TV and the Town’s social media pages.
“This holiday season, we wanted to make sure we could still celebrate with our North Hempstead family in a safe way,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “Our virtual Kwanzaa celebration is one way we are bringing the holidays to our viewers at home.”
This is a continuation of the Town’s popular NHTV at Home series which featured holiday themed videos. Earlier this month special episodes included Hanukkah and Christmas.
The Kwanzaa episodes will premiere at 4 p.m. on December 28 and December 30. Learn more about Kwanzaa, enjoy a special book reading from the Town Board, participate in an art workshop and watch a special presentation by the “Yes We Can” after school program.
