Town to Return to In-Person Town Board Meetings
North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board announced that due to the termination of New York State’s COVID-19 state of emergency, meetings of the Town Board and Solid Waste Management Authority (SWMA) will now be held in person at Town Hall, located at 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset, NY 11030 beginning Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 7 p.m.
Due to the change in meeting format from virtual to in-person attendance, the legal notices for the public hearings scheduled for July 8, 2021 will be updated. These public hearings will be continued without a date and new hearing dates will be set during the July 8 meeting. The new hearings will be held in-person at a later date. Any public comment that was previously offered and included in the hearing record for an item that will be continued without a date will remain part of the record.
Please be advised that all visitors at indoor Town facilities are required to wear a mask.
All Town Board meetings are broadcasted live on the Town's website beginning at its regularly scheduled time at 7 p.m. Residents who are interested in viewing the meetings can visit: www.northhempsteadny.gov/townboardlive.
