Town Sponsors Empire Safety Driving Courses

            New Hyde Park, NY—Supervisor Jon Kaiman, Councilman Angelo P. Ferrara and the North Hempstead Town Board announced today that the upcoming defensive driving courses for Town employees and residents will be held at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY.

            “This is a great opportunity for employees and residents to reduce insurance costs, cut penalty points, increase personal driving safety, and renew expiring certificates,” said Supervisor Kaiman.

            The Empire Safety defensive driving courses are available for $38.  To complete the course in one day, residents can attend a class on Saturday July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14 and December 12 from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

             To complete the course in two days during the evenings, residents can attend the class July 15 & 16, August 19 & 20, Sept 16 & 17, Oct. 21 & 22, Nov. 18 & 19 and Dec 16 & 17  from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
