TONH Seniors Gather at Funday Monday’s at North Hempstead Beach Park

North Hempstead, NY—Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced today that North Hempstead’s first Funday Monday of 2010 was a huge success. Over 400 seniors gathered at North Hempstead Beach Park for live entertainment, card-playing and dancing at “Class Reunion” Day, one of several themed Funday Monday’s.

Supervisor Kaiman noted, “We are very proud to host these wonderful events every Monday throughout the summer and we hope our seniors continue to enjoy Funday Monday’s at North Hempstead Beach Park.”

North Hempstead Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman added, “I am always happy to take some time and spend it with our great North Hempstead senior community. A lively afternoon of entertainment will be waiting for them every Monday at North Hempstead Beach Park.”
