DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSES
Manhasset, NY - North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jon Kaiman announced today that the Town will be sponsoring three upcoming American Association of Retired People (AARP) defensive driving courses for drivers 50 years and older, and one Empire Safety driving course for drivers of any age. The courses will be held at Town Hall in the board room, on the second floor and are available to all Town residents and employees.
“It’s a great chance for residents to reduce insurance costs, reduce penalty points and to increase personal driving safety,” said Supervisor Kaiman.
The following are the dates and times for the upcoming courses:
- AARP - Wednesday, October 20 & Friday, October 22 (6 to 10 p.m.)
- AARP - Wednesday, October 27 & Thursday, October 28 (6 to 10 p.m.)
- AARP - Wednesday, November 17 & Thursday, November 18 (6 to 10 p.m.)
- EMPIRE SAFETY - Wednesday, November 3, & Thursday, November 4 (7 to 10 p.m.)
