SECOND-HALF 2011/2012 SCHOOL TAXES DUE
North Hempstead, NY– North Hempstead Receiver Charles Berman alerted property owners that the second-half 2011/2012 School Tax is now due and payable without penalty through May 10, 2012.
Mailed payments must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service on or before May 10 to avoid penalty. Taxes may be paid in person at the Receiver of Taxes Office at 200 Plandome Road in Manhasset. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4:45 pm. The Tax Office will remain open until 7 pm on May 10 for the convenience of taxpayers.
Property taxes may also be paid online by credit card or check (ACH) on the Receiver of Taxes’ webpage at: www.northhempsteadny.gov/taxes.
Taxpayers may contact the Town’s “311” call center for additional information or to request a duplicate tax bill. Further information is also available on the Town’s website.
