Port Washington, NY- Supervisor Jon Kaiman and the North Hempstead Town Board announced today the return of the Memorial Day fireworks to Bar Beach.  Residents of Town of North Hempstead are invited to attend this spectacular fireworks show at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 28th at Bar Beach Park located on West Shore Road in Port Washington.  Roads will close when parking reaches capacity.

The Memorial Day fireworks celebration is made possible by a generous donation from Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza.

“This night promises to be a great evening out for people of all ages,” commented Supervisor Kaiman.  “I encourage parents to bring their families for an evening packed with bag pipes and drums, live bands, dancers and fireworks while saluting our veterans.”

“This is the first time in five years that the fireworks show will be appearing at Bar Beach Park.  Residents should take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and join in the celebration,” stated Councilman Troiano.
